The Mahoning Valley’s economic engine has been revving in recent years. Since 2008, economic development projects have created an impressive $1.5 billion in investments, 5,098 new jobs and retained 7,840 jobs.

Sarah Boyarko, M.S., V.P. of Economic Development, Retention & Expansion Youngstown-Warren Regional Chamber will present an economic update and how the Valley is leading the U.S. in its economic recovery.

An overview of how the Chamber’s services retain and expand existing business and attract new business will be covered. She will also discuss how companies such as V&M Star, Universal Stainless & Alloy Products and Anderson-Dubose, Inc. are leading this growth.

Sarah A. Boyarko has been employed with the Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber since October 2006. Her duties as the V.P. of Economic Development, Business Retention & Expansion. Boyarko is a 2009 graduate of Leadership Mahoning Valley and a 2009 honoree of the Mahoning Valley Young Professional’s 40 Under 40 Award. She earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s of Science degrees from Youngstown State University.
